NURSE CLINICIAN IIE- PACE NON-HOLIDAY

Full Time 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Day Bachelor's Full-time ambulatory position in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, rotating between clinics at Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, White Marsh, and Greenspring. Requires baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing and 3 years of experience as a direct patient care registered nurse. Responsible for coordinating pre-operative and post-operative care of plastic surgery patients. Work with medical office coordinators to ensure cases are posted appropriately and communicated timely, including assurance that equipment and supplies ready, and follow-up on documentation and diagnostic testing. Support resident practice by providing excellent customer service, patient education around commonly performed procedures throughout the patient's continuum of care, and screening patient's clinical questions, including being a professional resource for questions pertaining to Botox, Juvederm, Latisse, and like products. Highly effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal quality patient care. Ability to work in a fast paced university teaching hospital.-Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
