Monday-Friday Days - 8 hrs GENERAL SUMMARY: The Manager of Outpatient Rehab Services oversees and assists in delivering care to patients to patients referred to Outpatient Rehab Services. Must be able to perform satisfactorily the specific competencies as outlined by the department. Must effectively interact with patient, families, physicians and other health team members while maintaining standards of practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Preferred:
Required: Strong planning and organization, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and coaching/staff development skills. Good general business skills, high degree of confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness and business ethics. Strong written and verbal communications skills, coaching and mentoring skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, High degree of self-motivation, commitment and integrity.
EDUCATION:
Preferred: Masters degree in PT/OT/SLP.
Required: Completion of the LRMC leadership Institute and Management Orientation within the specified period. Bachelor's degree from accredited school in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
Required: Minimum of 5-7 years in a technical/professional role with increasing leadership responsibility. One year management experience in outpatient rehab setting.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER:
Preferred:
Required: Current Florida license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.*AHA17*
