Mid-Level Pract/Ambulatory - Endocrinology

Full Time 8am-5pm Days APRN License 1 year of experience required Provides comprehensive, family centered care for children birth to 21 in specialty areas of diabetes and endocrinology. Responsibilities include: clinical practice, case mgmt, education of families, staff, students and professional groups, participation in administrative issues and research. Practices in accordance with the standards set forth by the ANA, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and CT statues governing APRN practice.

CT state licensure, MSN, Board Certification: ANA or NAPNAP. Two yrs exp in Pediatrics; experience in diabetes, obesity, chronic disease preferred. Experience working with schools, community agencies, providers in advocating for children. Public speaking exp helpful. Demonstrated commitment to family centered care. Cultural competence. CDE, examination when appropriate. FT 40hrs 8:30am to 5pm
