Charge Nurse

Nurse Abstractor facility: Lovelace Womens Hospital jobtype: Part-Time (0.5)/Full Time Available shift: Days department: Women's Hospital Quality Management description: Responsible for reviewing patient medical records to assure quality standards are achieved and that documentation is within compliance with established regulatory agencies. Identifies opportunities for improvement during point of care record review and/or during data abstraction and facilitates onsite improvements as directed by the Director of Quality Management. Abstracts moderate to complex data elements for Core Measures, STS, ACC-NCDR and enters into required data base(s) in a timely and accurate fashion. Performs quality process improvement activities as directed, including identifying performance improvement opportunities and assisting the Director of Quality Management with problem solving and implementing solutions, developing and maintaining statistical databases, developing and producing complex reports and assisting clinical/operational leadership and staff with quality projects as assigned. Familiarizes self with regulatory requirements for performance improvement, quality assessment and patient safety requirements: Two (2) years of previous job-related experience. Experience may be substituted for relevant education in accordance to policy.Current RN license in State of New Mexico city: Albuquerque state: NM
